1955 Vintage Grape Jelly Jam Jar Welch's Fruit of the Vine Lid Glass Cup

This listing is for a lovely vintage Welch's Fruit of the Vine Jelly Jar with the original 1955 lid. The jar is shaped like a little bowl with molded thumbprint shapes in the side. The lid is in fairly good condition, with a small spot at the top and a scratch. It measures about 2.5" tall and 3.5" top diameter. Bottom diameter is 2". Please note that the lid on the jar does not come off! I have never been able to wedge it off of the top and I didn't want to dent or ding it by banging it against the counter or prying it off. The colors in the metal lid are bright and vibrant and the glass is shiny. I used this for a display, but I am changing out my display and no longer need it. Perhaps it will go nicely in someone else's kitchen.
