Antique Blanchflower & Sons English Ironstone Jam Pot w/ Screw on Lid.
Listing is for an Antique English Ironstone Jam Pot from Blanchflower & Sons. It is a chunky pot measuring 4" tall and a 3" diameter. It has beautiful crackling, crazing. it is complete and has the original rim and screw on lid. It looks fabulous with old ironstone. It has some small chips from the inner rim; however this does not affect the attachment of the lid or the appearance and value. These pots are extremely rare antiques and hard to find with a complete intact lid. These come from England where they were often thrown in a pit and buried, being dug up years later with great patina. Please look at pictures closely as they are part of the description. Comes from a smoke free home.
