    This is a particularly specific background and service record of Tran Van Minh, a Combat Intelligence Officer, trained in Saigon, Okinawa and at Fort Holabird in Baltimore, USA.
    Document details just about every specific of the life or Tran Van Minh.
    The first document is issued upon commencement of training at Okinawa (Japan) and provides details from his birth on the 5th of February 1935, including names of parents and grandparents, his schooling at Hai Duong and later Hanoi, his joining the Army (then under the French in 1954), his relocation from Hanoi to Da Lat in 1954, onto Vinh Song in 1955, Saigon in 1956 through 1964 - His service in North Vietnam and Laos with date not supplied but prior to finalization of document on the 19th of October 1964.
    The second document is signed off on the 25th of September 1969 but us for issue for training / debriefing, again at Okinawa through to the 29th of November 1967. It notes, in addition to some information on previous sheet that he was attached to the 23rd ARVN Infantry in 1962 and repeats the information in regards to service in North Vietnam and Laos. It also identifies him as a Combat Intelligence Officer who also trained / consulted / observed with the British Army in Singapore in 1962 and studied at the Faculty of War in Johore (Malaysia).
    The third document, again at Okinawa is also for 1969 and appears to have been completed to be more specific in relation to his dates of service particularly in Saigon.
    The fourth and final document was issued at Fort Holabird, Baltimore and details his time there from June through September 1970. At this time he lived at 571 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Saigon with his wife Nguyen Thi Loan.
    In 1967, Tran Van Minh was a Colonel, after this time his rank is no longer mentioned.
