The Charles Munch portrait was done by BETTINA STEINKE (1913-1999) who was commissioned to do charcoal portraits of Toscanini, Paderewski and 100 members of the NBC Symphony.
The original portraits are in the National Gallery, Washington, D.C.
The Battista portrait was done by Don Hewitt (1904-1998), American illustrator.
The 4" x 6" heavy weight stapled card stapled to Munch's portrait, has printed on it
"Charles Munch, It is my sincere pleasure to endorse and recommend the Baldwin Piano. Because of its brilliant resonant tone the Baldwin is unequaled in concerto works with orchestra or in recital."

The card stapled to Joseph Battista's portrait by Hewitt has printed on it, Joseph Battista, "The Baldwin has a tone of singing beauty that expresses every musical emotion..." (signed in black ink, Joseph Battista.
