    Charles Harold "Hal" Weber
    Charles Harold "Hal" Weber (94 on Oct. 20) returned to live with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2009. He was born in Lititz, PA and moved to New Holland as a child, graduating from New Holland High School, the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL and from Arizona State University with a degree in Fine Arts. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona and also for a while in Honolulu.
    He moved from New Holland to Phoenix, AZ in 1952 where he worked as a commercial artist, also painting commissioned portraits and various other paintings. He was a member of the National Portrait Institute of New York City and the American Portrait Society. His biography is featured in "Who's Who in Arizona." When Justice Sandra Day O'Connor was elected to the U.S. Supreme Court, Hal was the artist chosen to paint her portrait which now hangs in the Supreme Court's Historical Society.
