  • Condition: The condition is very good with no tears or brittle paper. There is age toning as you can see what the mat did not cover. Please view all my photos as they are better than words to describe condition. If you cannot view them, I am using a different format than eBay’s standard photo loading system.     Up for buy it now is a James P Beckworth “Buffalo Hunter” print.
    J.P. Beckworth (Black Scout) was born in 1798.
    He found an important pass though the
    Sierra Nevada
    and led the first wagon train of settlers though.
    Today the pass, mountain peak, the valley and town nearby are named for him.
    He has a history that cannot be told in this space. The net can give you the full history of this interesting black person who has a history that a book was written about him.
    The artist is Izell Glover.
    He is a storyteller, teacher, artist and cowboy. As the founder of the Black Cowboys, he tells historical legends of black cowboys lost in time.
    This has a date of 12/82 in the lower
    right-hand
    bottom and
    resigned by the artist in pencil on the same side.  The dimensions of the mat are 12” by 14”.  The print is 8” by 10 1/2” within the framed mat opening.  I removed this from the wood frame so you could save shipping charges.  I discount shipping charges for multiple items shipped at the same time.  Discount refunded when items shipped.  I do not offer returns on any of my items as you are guaranteed satisfaction per eBay’s stated return policy.  If you have any questions on this or any other
