About This Piece:
Iridescent pigments were used throughout along with watercolor paints created from genuine crushed gemstones. These pigments give a painting depth as glazes are added. I used gold, silver, copper (and whatever other colors I have lying about) metallic leafing that shines at different angles when as you hold it.
Digital imaging cannot capture the true spirit of the original work. A protective coat has been applied. A very unique, Surreal piece of tiny art for the discriminating collector!
