Saddle is decorated with coins, cut coins.  (see list below).  There are leather conchos which came on the saddles.  We did not make the saddles.  Then there are silver, nickel, and other metal conchos.
This was a retail store display and also the first prototype.  It would be on display and a customer could buy a saddle without decorations.  Then design their own and it would be custom made for them.
The original leather saddles came from Mexico and the additional leatherwork and conchos were done in Southern California.  Several laborers, artists, leather workers, jewelers, and I made this item long ago in the dim ages.  There was over 25 saddle customizations done.  About 15 or more wooden stands made.  We also made leather hanging saddlehorses.
The stand is included.  We call them
saddlehorses
because our real ones for real saddles are made of wood and a fake wooden horse head.
Used Condition:
Previously Owned - Was an IN-STORE DISPLAY many decades ago.
TAPADEROS is damaged on one side
.  A tapaderos is a fancy stirrup cover tap.
Some of the rivets holding down the conchos have come loose and some conchos have been glued down.  Some conchos were not riveted at all but glued only.
The Stand measures approximately 5½ inches by almost 8 inches by almost 9 inches tall to the top of the beads.
The Saddle measures very approximately 7 inches wide by 9 inches long by 12+ inches tall.
The stand is intentionally slightly short for the saddle because of they way it was set in the display case in the store.  The stirrups touch the ground.
Saddle and stand weigh almost 1½ pounds on a postal scale; this is NOT the shipping weight.
There are

not counting the leather rosettes.
