Terracotta Ikebana Pottery Platform Flower Frog Vase Green Blue Glaze Spirals

Description

This is a handmade glazed terracotta flower frog vase, for Ikebana style flower arranging. The vase is approximately 11" long, 4.5" wide, and 4.5" tall at its highest point.
It features a rectangular base, topped with a curved tile-like platform. There are 5 holes through the platform, into the hollow base, which act as a flower frog. The edges of the platform feature a border pattern of squares with spirals in them, and dots around the outside of the squares. The piece is partially glazed, with a drip style drab green and navy blue glaze. Part of the piece is unglazed, including the border design and bottom of the base.
This item is in good pre-owned condition, with no chips or cracks. Please note that the bottom of this piece has a naturally rough finish, which may scratch or damage other surfaces. The buyer may want to attach felt to the bottom of the piece, or take other steps to protect surfaces that contact this piece.
