    Description

    This piece of furniture is very unusual.  In colonial times it  was used in the bedroom to store the chamber pot during the day and I think maybe a place to put a bowl of water for washing in the top space with a drawer for other washing items. It is listed in the first of more  than 20 dollhouse items  Ewart Tonner and  his son-in-law Alfred Habercoss made in 1958. TONCOSS  is a combination of their names.It is from my personal collection of Toncoss furniture.  As you can see it is in excellent condition.
