    Pamphlet issued by the Department of Defense Armed Forces Information and Education.  Over 55 years ago.  Given to soldiers leaving for active duty. NAVPERS NAVMC.  24 pages that include putting your affairs in order, housing, transportation, sending money home, medical care, returning to civilian life, etc.  Includes the rates of pay, pay scales, basic allowances for commissioned officer and warrant officer (47.88) and enlisted member - .09 per day!!!  Really cool vintage piece of militaria in very good condition - see photos.
