This delightful autumn scene is entitled "Texas Gold" by renowned artist Randy Souders. This print is personally hand autographed by the artist .
This mythical scene is reminiscent of the time that helped solidify the myth of the Texas oil baron.  Endless miles of relatively inexpensive ranch land was suddenly awash in wealth thanks to the discovery of oil.  The main ranch house was always the centerpiece of any spread. But with the infusion of millions it wasn't uncommon for landowners to go all out to "one up" their neighbors.  This painting has been called reminiscent of the ranch in the George Stevens classic  "GIANT"  starring Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean.  Even that Hollywood version had it's roots  in a reality of sorts.
As with all his work, you'll want to look for the artists' trademark "Tom cat." This print will be the perfect addition to any traditional, Victorian, Texana, oil patch or western Americana collection!
