    Description

An Imperial Domain of the Golden Dragon card dated September 13, 1969.  This card states on the front side "Let if be known that on this day 13 Sep 69 James Earl Linder having crossed over the one hundred and eightieth meridian is hereafter and forever a member of the "Order of the Golden Dragon."  The card has the signatures imprinted of "His Imperial Majesty, the Golden Dragon and Robert F. Six, President Continental Airlines."  On the backside of the card the following is printed "Let it be known as high as the albatross can soar and as deep as the whale can dive, from one end of His Majesty's domain to the other and beyond, that the bearer of this card having crossed the international date line and taken the terrible pledge to the dragon, is hereafter and forever a member of the ancient and mysterious "Order of the Golden Dragon."  My husband, James Linder, got this card en route to the US Air Force base he was stationed at during the Vietnam War.  The card has some creases and some of the gold color on the front of the card is missing, but overall this 3.5" x 2" card is in good condition.
