Vintage box of new old stock mushroom birds manufactured in China.
The box contains 20
birds; they are all mixed varieties. They all seem to be little round birds, like wrens and finches and sparrows.
The birds' bodies are about 2 inches long, and then some have short tails and some have longer ones.
They are manufactured from pieces of dried mushrooms over a foam base.
The birds do not have feet. There is a wire poked into their belly which can be used to attach them to a branch in a floral arrangement, or to a wrapped package as a decorative element.
Two birds are missing their beaks, and several others that have beaks are missing the wire attached to their belly.
