    Description

Storage find.I'm not an expert,I know very little about this lot of items. However I did find some information.Day Of the dead figures.
    The
    Day of the Dead
(Spanish: Día de Muertos or Día de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated in Mexico and elsewhere associated with the Catholic celebrations of All Saints'
    Day
    and All Souls'
    Day
, and is held on November 1 and 2. ... It is commonly portrayed as a
    day
    of celebration rather than mourning.
19-20 figures. Most are paper mache. One with the name under bottom 2 skeletons sitting appear to be stoneware pottery. The women hats are off but I have them. Most are marked, written on bottom "Mexico".There are some flaws, the chief has a broken arm but it's still with the figure. The musicians bottom leg is off but still inside the little shed. There's one little guy who is sitting, but I have no idea where he belong.Still agreat folk art display.I welcome comments and corrections.I try very hard to be honest, any flaws overlooked I assure you are not intentional.Any problems with my items please contact me before filing a case or leaving negative feedback.
