Vintage New Mexico Sand Painting “Chiricahua Sun” Beautiful!!!.
This Beautiful Vintage Sand Painting “Chiricahua Sun” belonged to my Mom it measures 13” x 13” and is painted on wood. It’s in beautiful condition!!!it has I very slight scrape at the top threw the bird (see pic).
This painting symbolizes the Sun which represents defense and protection, the Buffalo horns are the symbol of strength, eagle feathers at their tips stands for balance and justice. Be always ready to defend yourself but if attack becomes imperative may the thoughts of man rise as high as the eagle do so that the motive may be pure and the action shall be filled justice and with honor.
